Whoever invented Daylight Savings time clearly didn’t have children.
Daylight Saving Time 2015 is ending on November 1 at 2 a.m. in the United States
Being a mother myself it was always hard for my children to adjust to the new time change. Instead of waking at 6:00am now they were up at 5:00am. Here are a few tips of how to adjust to the new time.
The Mom Theory:
1.) Be patient they will adjust before they go away to college.
2.) Read a good book before bedtime with them.
3.) Hug and kiss them goodnight every night, it helps them feel secure before going to sleep.
The Medical Theory:
1. Stay up 20 minutes past your normal bedtime on Friday & Saturday.
2. Shift your meal to an earlier time
3. Limit caffeine
4. Exercise
5. Take Melatonin if needed.
Whichever one you use, remember this too shall pass. Enjoy your children.
